Super Bowl MVP Joins EPC at Tailgate Dinner

The Eastern Produce Council hosted its annual Tailgate Dinner Tuesday, Sept. 15 at MetLife Stadium, here. The event, sponsored by the Idaho Potato Commission and Oppy, featured former New York Giant and Super Bowl XXV MVP Ottis Anderson.

Prior to giving a speech, Anderson spent the cocktail hour socializing with EPC members. The decor included televisions set up with original Nintendo systems running Tecmo Super Bowl, a classic 1991 game that came out shortly after Anderson’s MVP performance.

In addition to great company, delicious food and ample beverages, guests were treated to a raffle at the conclusion of the evening. Prizes included branded items from IPC and Oppy, Giants gear and even the aforementioned televisions and Nintendo consoles.

EPC’s next event is the 12th annual Joe DeLorenzo Family Apple Picking at Melick Farm in Oldwick, NJ, on Saturday, Sept. 26.
