The New England Produce Council (NEPC) and the Eastern Produce Council (EPC) together for the first time will be presenting an educational event that will feature the Produce Marketing Association (PMA) and United Fresh Produce Association (United).

The event will feature PMA's Dr. Bob Whitaker and Dr. Jim Gorny providing the latest update on the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and research findings from the Center for Produce Safety (CPS). PMA President and CEO Bryan Silbermann will moderate a panel of retail and food service executives discussing how these new regulations affect their businesses.

United Fresh President Tom Stenzel will moderate a panel of State Secretaries of Agriculture and industry professionals on how sweeping changes in current regulations affect growers nationally and regionally. Then, United will also present a workshop - "School Foodservice and Tomorrow's Consumers". Tuesday's events conclude with a cocktail reception.

This will be a don't miss event! Together, EPC, NEPC, PMA and United will help increase the knowledge base of all of our members. This will be a first class program.
